On May 23, Laurel House Inc. was awarded a grant of $11,000 by the New Canaan Community Foundation at the foundation’s annual awards breakfast at Norwalk Community College’s PepsiCo Theater.
The grant will go toward the Stamford-based Laurel House’s Thinking Well, a privately funded program that addresses the long-term cognitive impairment of those living with serious mental illness.
The foundation promotes community philanthropy and helps donors achieve their charitable goals.
