Laurel House’s 2017 Champion for Recovery is Randi Silverman, co-founder and CEO of The Youth Mental Health Project and award-winning screenwriter and producer of the feature film, No Letting Go.
State Rep. Tom O’Dea (R-125), who represents New Canaan and Wilton has been chosen as Town Champion for those towns in recognition of his work in the General Assembly, as a litigator and as a community volunteer. O’Dea is a ranking member on the legislature’s Transportation Committee. He was also a member of the New Canaan’s Town Council from 2005 to 2013 and in his free time coaches New Canaan youth football, baseball and basketball.
The other 2017 Town Champions are: Kate Larson, Darien; Nancy von Euler, Norwalk/Southport; Jack and Sharon Feighery, Stamford; and Dan Woog, Westport.
